Coulson Aviation Australia is a subsidiary of global aerial firefighting company, Coulson Aviation, and supports Australian States and Emergency Service Organizations with the provision of aircraft and experienced team members. Coulson Aviation operates across the world with a fleet of large aerial firefighting assets consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. With our fleet of Boeing 737 FIRELINERS, Hercules C130, Citation and King Air fire support platforms, CH47D Chinooks, UH60 Blackhawks and Bell 412 helicopters, we provide rapid response capabilities using aviation assets. Coulson Aviation Australia operate and manage New South Wales Rural Fire Service-owned aircraft in all aspects of maintenance, fleet support systems and management, and operating personnel. Our teams perform aerial firefighting missions, transport flights, intelligence and scanning missions, disaster mitigation, search and rescue operations, and related activities. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Coulson Aviation Australia is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Aviation Operations and Logistics Coordinator to oversee and assist in the efficient management of aviation operations, travel logistics, company housing, and company vehicles. This multifaceted role is critical to ensure smooth daily operations and contributing to the strategic growth of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation operations, logistics management, and cross-functional coordination. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Manage Operational staff travel requirements to optimise operational efficiency and reduce downtime. Plan, coordinate, and manage the company's travel logistics, ensuring seamless travel experiences for employees, executives, and clients as required. Work with travel vendors and agencies to negotiate rates, book accommodation, transportation, and flights, ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to company policies. Manage and oversee the company’s facilities and housing assignments for employees, ensuring a smooth transition process and availability of housing options. Negotiate lease terms, renewals, cleaning and maintenance with landlords and property management. Oversee the management of company vehicles, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, insured, and available for use as required. Prepare and submit reports on operational performance, cost analyses, and areas for improvement to senior management. Perform other related duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Experience in aviation operations, flying, logistics, or a related field, with at least 2 years experience. Operations experience in the aviation sector with proven ability in planning, customer/client liaison, and operations performance reporting a benefit. Experience in managing corporate travel, housing, and fleet operations. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Currently hold or ability to obtain Red ASIC card and/or RAAF passes.
