We are looking for a Full-Time Operations Manager – Processing for our headquarters in Perth. The successful candidate will possess the following: Strong understanding of machine processing, machine IT systems and documentation. Strong understanding & commitment to customer expectations of finished product integrity, quality, finish, packaging & DIFOT Strong positive communication skills with staff and customers High attention to detail Competent use of CAD processing systems Laser Cutting - high competency Bandsaw Cutting - high competency Responsibilities of the Operations Manager – Processing include: Works Orders – Execution Management & Schedule Responsible for all activities undertaken by the Processing Operations team, procedures and accuracy of order processing. Ensure on-time & quality execution of Works Orders. DIFOT Liaising with the Scheduling & Nesting team Remnant management inclusive of size & storage Lead processing Operations team in setting & managing quality standards in product finish, cut quality, packaging, labelling & marking. Processing – Production Deadlines, Efficiencies & Quality Management Ensuring processed product is marked & packaged correctly for proper identification, safe transport, & packaging to SPS specification to ensure high quality compliance to customer. Reviewing packaging & consumables to improve transport & packaging efficiencies & deliverables. Reviewing & proposing pre & post cut works efficiencies, improving finished product & productivity. Managing & developing machine parameters relative to material & thickness being cut. Reporting Processing production statistics Booking, organising & recording Processing machinery servicing & repairs to ISO 9001 standard Troubleshooting machinery issues & breakdowns, liaising with all staff advising of machinery downtime. Ordering and keeping stock of machinery consumables and ancillary equipment & parts required. Developing & troubleshooting machinery modifications. Liaising with IT in the integration of the Equipment & Asset Register. Ensuring all MHE & Rigging equipment is certified and up to date.
