Joining their team means becoming part of one of Australia’s most flexible, professional, and well-equipped logistics networks.Your Role The newly established role of Operations Manager will be working closely with the Executive Group. Reporting directly to the Board and Senior Leadership Team, you will have a fast-paced and challenging role, applying your strong operational skills in a hands-on capacity across all departments. Your daily responsibilities will require you to: Ensure compliance across all departments, making sure all requirements are met. Oversee and support teams in General Freight, Warehouse, and other key areas. Manage payroll processes, including checking, approving, and invoicing. Handle HR responsibilities, providing management support across all departments. Take a proactive approach to drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain safe and compliant site and workplace. Effectively communicate with customers to ensure they receive accurate, timely, and high-quality service. Provide leadership and direction for staff across all departments ensuring open communication. Other Details The position is a full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday with some contact required outside hours due to the nature of the role. You will have access to some of the industry’s most progressive training and development systems and the possibility of career growth and business management continues to progress. The remuneration guide is up to $160K + Super + Company Vehicle.About You: Currently working in a Transport, Logistics, or Warehousing environment, ideally in high risk or bulk goods, with a strong understanding of operational processes. Proactive, hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Experienced in training, coaching, and mentoring operations support staff to foster growth and enhance team performance. Strong leadership skills with a focus on WHS and compliance, ensuring a safe and legally compliant work environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and collaborate across all levels.
