Due to an impending retirement, we are seeking an experienced, energetic and highly motivated Operations Manager to lead our dedicated team at our Riverina Operations Site. This position reports to the Managing Director and is responsible for a diverse range of functional areas within the business including Warehouse and Distribution, Quality Assurance, Finished Wine and Packaging, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Engineering. About the Role Provide leadership, support and strategic advice to the operation's team including the development and measurement of KPI's Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the production facility, ensuring efficient workflow Identify and evaluate opportunities for production/process improvements and business development Evaluate and approve operating budgets in respect of manufacturing operations and capital works Provide regular reports and strategic advice to the Managing Director as required Job Requirements Seasoned operations professional with a proven track record in the FMCG or a similar fast-paced industry Highly developed communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external clients Extensive 'hands on' experience in operations management Proven people management skills and the ability to effectively negotiate in the achievement of positive business outcomes Proficiency in systems and analytical tools that support forecasting, reporting, measurement and decision-making within a manufacturing/production environment.
