Globally, the company manufactures high-quality rubber products servicing Automotive, Mining, FMCG and Manufacturing. The company already operates a sizeable facility in Bendigo and is currently expanding its Rubber product range. It’s a great story with the company itself experiencing significant growth fueled by strong consumer demand. In responding to market requirements and extending their range of rubber lining products they are indeed leading the way.This role will be both exciting and challenging and deals with the toughest of preservation challenges, producing solutions to extend the life of vital infrastructure, whilst also working to reduce the customers’ ecological footprint. At this juncture, the company is ready to appoint an experienced Hose and Lining Operations Manager to provide leadership on site as the manufacturing facility takes shape. You will be reporting directly to the General Manager who has a real vision for the business, and this is where you come in! This is a key leadership opportunity, and we expect interest from experienced managers as well as credentialed supervisors to lead, support and motivate a team of operators as production grows.As an exciting new part of the business there is significant growth potential, and great scope to build a rewarding career. The team already on board has done a great job in developing the site, all SOP’s, OH&S, and have all relevant back-end functions up and running. The small production team already demonstrates commitment and skill and as the numbers grow will form the basis of your key team. If you pride yourself on good technical problem-solving skills and strong people management with a hands-on approach, then you are likely to be a good fit. Naturally, previous Rubber Lining experience is required. Previous experience with applications in specialised manufacturing, especially mining, will set you apart! Coming from a business with a growth orientation and an established network would also be an advantage. More specifically you will bring excellent commercial skills around production and systems, with a focus on continuous improvement. You will need solid computing skills and the engagement capability to deal cross functionally in the business. Ideally your results-orientation and sense of ownership will enable you to focus on coaching and developing the team to be the best they can be to ensure the consistent achievement of production, quality and cost targets, while also keeping an eye on the bigger picture.On Offer Set in one of Victoria’s premier regional towns, you'll enjoy a lifestyle like no other.
