ARRCS Katherine Aged Care facilities, which include Rocky Ridge Nursing Home and Katherine Hostel, are actively sourcing an Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis with a salary of $90,000 gross PA plus salary packaging options. Supporting the operations across both facilities, this role will see you lead the ‘non-clinical’ operations requirements within our Aged Care Homes. This includes our hospitality services such as laundry, kitchen, and cleaning, as well as maintenance services including grounds, general repairs, and larger contract projects. Additionally, you will support the management of administration and rostering services. As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate prior experience in an operational/workforce role, ideally within the hospitality industry. You will have a strong background in staff management and be familiar with working from multicultural backgrounds. You will be a leader who enjoys mentoring and supporting others. Furthermore, you will be a self-starter capable of leading a team and providing support during busy times while solving problems. Please note: Sponsorship or visas are not available with this role. Experience in managing a diverse team. Knowledge of culturally sensitive practices when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Prior use of Microsoft Office suite and other client reporting systems (Kronos, Procura). Ability to respond and adapt to competing priorities while working unsupervised. Empathy with aged individuals, their families, and personal carers.
