About this role: Operations Manager, Home & Community - Mackay and Rockhampton Central Qld Coast Region As the Operations Manager , you will lead the delivery of person-centred programs and support services for people with disabilities, all while driving strategic and operational excellence. This role requires someone who thrives on empowering people, leading teams, and ensuring high-quality, safe service delivery across multiple Endeavour Foundation sites, including SIL houses and Community Learning & Lifestyle Centres. You’ll be at the heart of our mission, leading by example and guiding teams towards continuous improvement. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference by: Advocating for the human rights of people with disabilities, ensuring their freedom from abuse and their ability to make choices about their lives. Overseeing safe, high-quality care through clinical governance and health service management. Driving performance-based culture and fostering employee growth. Developing high-performing teams and providing opportunities for ongoing professional development. Promoting Endeavour Foundation’s services and positioning us as an employer of choice. This role is perfect for a people-first leader with experience in the disability or aged care sector, particularly with complex clients who have high medical needs. Your expertise in people management, process optimisation, and commitment to client safety will be key to your success. What We’re Looking For: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services (or related field). Experience or willingness to understand the National Standards Disability Services and Quality & Safeguarding Framework . Strong capability in service delivery management with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. A natural ability to coach, lead, and guide teams through change and innovation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, staff, and external stakeholders. Proven success in performance management and achieving KPIs aligned with organisational goals. A strong commitment to building and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders. Willingness to travel regularly across the Rockhampton and Mackay region. Additional requirements: Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open driver’s license with comprehensive insurance.
