The Role: This exceptional opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is confident enough to grow a business and a team. Coming from a carpentry/building background ready to take the next step in your career, you will review and quote on projects, ensure work is completed on time and schedules are met. You will be responsible for providing regular progress updates to clients and ensuring a high level of service is always provided. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Leadership and management experience overseeing multiple work sites. Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships. Identifying key gaps for business development opportunities. Understanding of financial aspects of the business and cost reporting. Learn to create accurate monthly forecasts. Communicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobs. Handling escalated claims and conflict management with all stakeholders. Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard. Maintaining up-to-date documentation and compliance. Problem-solving strategies. Liaise between insurance companies and insured parties. Dispute and issue resolution, as required. Ensure all work conforms to legislative & contractual OH&S requirements. Ensure all inspections, certificates of final inspection from Building Surveyor & all relevant documentation is signed off. About You: Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Building or construction management background. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Carpentry or Facilities background (Preferred). Local industry contacts ideal, however, not essential. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Willingness to learn driving business growth and commercial acumen. Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities. Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client.
