We are seeking a motivated person with a 'Can Do' attitude to be the Operations Manager in our Tamworth branch. Being highly organised and able to adapt to change will be the secret recipe to successfully liaise with customers and organise a team of technicians and apprentices. Reporting to the Director, the chosen candidate will play an integral role within the branch, bringing their first-rate customer service and exceptional administration and communication skills to the team. No trade experience required for this position. What we are looking for... Experience in job scheduling, coordination, or operations (preferably in a trade-based business). Proficiency in SimPro or similar job management software (preferable). Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing schedules. Ability to multitask at a high level (Required). Customer service or sales skills preferred. Enjoy administration work and ability to follow documented processes (Required). Preferred to hold a driver's licence. What the Operations team member would do… Manage the daily job schedule. Answer incoming calls and emails for the branch. Coordinate the daily operations tasks, including ordering of parts and warranty works. Support the technicians to ensure they have all relevant information and equipment to complete works efficiently. Work efficiently across multiple software platforms to complete relevant tasks. Participate in team meetings and activities. Support the Operations team members in other branches when required. Salary range, depending on experience… A salary of between $60-$90k depending on experience. A three-month review will be held to determine other remuneration opportunities should the successful applicant be providing a higher-than-expected value.
