Operations Manager - Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV) Response Program The Opportunity We have an opportunity for a Operations Manager to be part of our Biosecurity Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions. The Operations Manager is part of the Incident Management Team (IMT) for the Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV) Response Program. The role's primary purpose is to oversee processes, manage resources, optimise workflows, and ensure operations' functions align with the Program's Plans and strategic goals. The Operations Manager leads the operations' function, driving actions and resources to achieve the objectives set by the Incident Controller and the Program Plan. The role contributes to delivering the agency's priorities by managing and coordinating all resources (human and physical) assigned to the Operations' area, and working in collaboration with the IMT and across the Department, to ensure the Program objectives are delivered. Full time opportunity, 37.5 hours per week Term contract until February 2026 Requirements Possession of a current driver's license and willingness to drive. Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be required. You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations when applying for a role. The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government agencies. Qualifications Essential: Nil. Introduction to AIIMS training (Australian Interservice Incident Management System) Program management qualification and/or extensive experience in an operational leadership role.
