What you’ll be doing: Promoting a strong safety-first culture and ensuring full compliance with OHS legislation. Leading the achievement of strategic growth objectives to drive operational and commercial success. Overseeing and improving operational efficiency, including fleet utilisation, fatigue management, and safety improvements. Managing large teams, fostering a high-performance environment, and ensuring KPIs are met. Managing Wharf Cartage operations to ensure smooth transport activities and effective resource allocation. Leading the use and optimisation of the Transport Management System (1-stop) to streamline operations. Identifying operational challenges and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and performance. What we’re looking for: Strong leadership experience in the transport industry, particularly in Wharf Cartage and operations management. Proven ability to manage large teams, drive performance, and achieve targets. Knowledge of compliance, fatigue management, and industry regulations. Proficiency in using the 1-stop Transport Management System. At least 5 years of operational management experience in transport. Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders. High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Why join our team?
