The Opportunity: Komatsu Forklifts is seeking an Operations Manager on a permanent full-time basis to manage our Perth branch and oversee the field service technicians situated across rural parts of the state. This role will lead a team of employees, consisting of Field Service/Workshop Technicians, Parts Administrators, Service Coordinators, and Sales Reps. The team includes long-standing employees with extensive knowledge of our Komatsu products. A key focus of this position is to ensure the delivery customers expect from Komatsu OEM, including customer service, parts, and service. Key Responsibilities: Management and delegation of day-to-day duties for each team member with regular check-ins and performance reviews. Monitoring and ensuring that the team is as efficient as possible while providing the best possible customer experience. Providing quotations to customers and building and presenting business proposals. Conducting regular audits of HSE and ensuring compliance and governance is adhered to. Ensuring all team members are enabled for success in their positions and can provide feedback on challenges or issues as they arise. Weekly, quarterly, and monthly reporting on the PNL, Budgeting, and WIP Performance. What We Are Looking For: Previous experience working as a Service/Workshop Manager, State or Territory Manager, or Operations Manager. Previous industry experience in EWP, Hire Industry, Construction, or Equipment is advantageous. Must have leadership experience and strong team management skills. Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting building (PNL, WIP Reports). Must understand Service Centre operations and safety standards, protocols, and procedures. The ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and managers. A leader who can enable their team and drive growth development plans and strategies. A current Forklift and Driver's License.
