Operations and Hospitality Manager - Terrace Gardens About the role ARRCS Terrace Gardens Aged Care facility are actively sourcing an experienced Operations and Hospitality Manager to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role attracts a salary of AUD$95,000 gross base PA plus superannuation at 11.5% and salary packaging options. This role will see you lead the ‘non-clinical’ operations requirements within our Aged Care facility, which include our hospitality services of laundry services, kitchen (all meal preparation and maintenance), and cleaning for our 88 residents. In addition, you will provide support to the management of Administration and Rostering services. As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate prior experience in an operational/workforce role ideally within the Hospitality industry. You will have a strong background in staff management and be up to date with working from multicultural backgrounds. You will be a leader who also enjoys mentoring and supporting others. Skills & experience To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma OR at least 3 years of relevant employment experience in lieu of a formal qualification. At least 12 months of full-time post-qualification employment experience undertaken in the last five years. Demonstrate previous experience within a Hospitality Management or similar industry role. Experience in managing a diverse team. Ideally worked within Home Care environment, such as Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, Housing, or a similar industry. Knowledge of culturally sensitive practice when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Prior use of Microsoft Office suite and other client reporting systems. Ability to respond and adapt to competing priorities whilst working unsupervised. Empathy with Aged People, their families, and Personal Carers.
