About the role We have a great blended fashion retail and healthcare experience to offer involving: Providing eye care and eyewear styling advice to patients and prospective clientele. Dispensing lenses and frames per prescriptions provided by our Optometrists. Building meaningful relationships with our clientele that gives them a reason to visit us again. Assisting with opening and closing procedures. About the person 1+ years experience in optical, or 2+ years retail sales experience. Previously entrusted with store opening/closing duties. Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical skills. Confident, clear, and effective communication skills. Capable of building trusting and respectful relationships. Self-motivated, positive, and friendly manner. Optical Dispensing Certificate IV is highly desired, but not essential. This is a great organisation for someone looking to continue to grow beyond a customer-facing role, and we are often able to support relocation to meet the work-life needs of our staff.
