Permanent Full-time position Overview The Team Leader is an experienced and highly competent clinician who delivers quality services and provides clinical/professional leadership to a multi-disciplinary team of professionals working in the Barossa Hills Fleurieu region of South Australia. The Team Leader undertakes operational management including monitoring of service provision, data collection, and service evaluation for community-based services. BHFLHN Country Health Connect (Community) has teams of health professionals whose role is to provide services in the community, in the acute sector, and through a variety of service models. Responsible for contributing to improvements in the quality, safety, and community needs-driven distribution of services within the BHFLHN, the Team Leader works with allied health and nursing staff, managers, and other stakeholders on model of care and workforce development initiatives. As a member of the BHFLHN Community & Allied Health leadership team, the Team Leader will contribute to operational planning for the program and ensure that all services are integrated with other key program areas. Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for (full) membership of the relevant Professional Association. For those professions requiring Registration, all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions, it is desirable to participate in the professional associations’ accredited continuing professional development program.
