Our client is seeking an experienced IS&T / Technical Enablement / ServiceNow / and or OCM Practice Organizational Change Management Specialist.- can be based in either Brisbane QLD or Perth WA This role will be situated within the Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) function, who are advancing the ServiceNow digital platform as part of our global digital transformation. We aim to empower teams with simpler, faster processes that enhance productivity and efficiency. We are recruiting OCM professionals to support this transformation, ensuring the successful adoption of new digital workflows and platform capabilities. Our team operates with agility, driving iterative improvements while embedding ServiceNow's adoption across critical business functions. About the Role We are seeking an OCM Specialist to lead change initiatives across our ServiceNow platform transformation. You will collaborate with IS&T, domain stakeholders, and product teams to design and execute change plans that drive adoption and sustain new ways of working. As part of the ServiceNow Chapter, you will contribute to Rio Tinto's strategic goal of simplifying and digitizing business services globally. This includes leading communication campaigns, developing training, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and tracking adoption metrics. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring key change objectives are met, particularly around IT service transformation, RTTMS decommissioning, and embedding the Common Services Data Model (CSDM). Location: Brisbane QLD or Perth WA Start Date: ASAP End Date: March 2026 Daily Rate: $1,000 - $1,200 + super (Dependent on experience and skills) Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain agile change management plans for ServiceNow implementations and upgrades. Lead stakeholder engagement and communication initiatives to build awareness and readiness for platform changes. Design and facilitate training sessions, ensuring knowledge materials are aligned with ServiceNow capabilities. Apply structured methodologies (e.g., ADKAR) to assess change impacts and ensure effective adoption. Collaborate across Product Owners, Service Owners, and Technical Teams to define OCM deliverables including training and communications. Create user guides, training videos, and tooltips using platforms such as SharePoint and ServiceNow Knowledge Base. Leverage dashboards and user analytics to monitor adoption progress and refine strategies. Support translation efforts to serve multilingual teams (e.g., French translations for AMEMEA regions). Participate in agile ceremonies, including planning, retrospectives, and Scrum of Scrums, to align OCM activities with sprint objectives. Drive continuous improvements in change delivery through proactive engagement with teams and end users. About You Essential Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Change Management, or equivalent experience. Mining sector experience desirable. Certifications such as CMI, Prosci, or Agile Change Practitioner. 7+ years in OCM roles within large organizations, ideally involving complex IT or ServiceNow transformations. Experience with agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum), including backlog management in Azure Dev Ops or Jira. Strong technical literacy with platforms such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, and analytics tools. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive change and communication plans. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global, cross-functional teams. Ability to generate adoption metrics, conduct readiness assessments, and report on change outcomes. Desirable Skills Ability to craft communications to large audiences across IS&T and Rio Tinto user segments. Ability to use video clipping in Clipchamp and MS Stream. Ability to report on Adoption metrics and User satisfaction. Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, and ITIL/ITSM best practices. Ability to create custom guided tours and knowledge articles in ServiceNow. ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Adoption Professional, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist or ServiceNow CSA). Familiarity with NowAssist, Virtual Agent, and other core ServiceNow features. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
