Job Description

Central Sydney Eye Surgeons is seeking a motivated and team-oriented full time Orthoptist/Ophthalmic Assistant to join our dynamic practice. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills and work in a collaborative environment in a multi-subspecialty ophthalmology practice. Our Surgeons subspecialise in Cataract surgery, Refractive surgery, Corneal, Oculo-plastics, Glaucoma, Uveitis, Medical Retina, and Surgical Retina. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Patient Screening / surgical counselling Diagnostic Imaging & TestingAutorefraction and Keratometry Cirrus OCT and OCT Angiography Fundus Photography Fluorescein Angiography Anterior Segment Photography IOL Master 700 Biometry Pentacam Corneal Topography Humphrey Visual Field Testing Assisting in Minor Procedures and Intravitreal Injections Reception/Administrative Support at least 1-2 days a week:Managing patient calls and appointment bookings Assisting with surgical bookings coordinating surgery lists Key Skills & Qualifications: A professional and compassionate approach with patients.Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate attention to detail. Further training and supervision will be provided.
