Our clinics are expanding with our move into a new, state of the art medical clinic at Miranda in early 2025 and views to do the same at our Bondi Junction clinic shortly after. To get on the front foot and with the onboarding of new doctors and the ever-growing number of clinics, we are expanding our clinical team to cater for our growth plans.We are looking for Full and Part time orthoptists and/or experienced Allied Health Assistants or experienced assistants in nursing (AINs) to join our team.Projected start date: Jan 2025 - New graduates welcome and encouraged to apply.The successful applicants must possess outstanding customer service skills and be a reliable and highly organised individual who is able to work efficiently on their own and within a team environment.Reporting to the Head Orthoptist, we are looking for someone to join our highly efficient team, making our patients feel comfortable while delivering the highest level of care and supporting the doctors to deliver outstanding and exceptional service.About the role: Work alongside an established orthoptic and admin team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: General and specialised patient work ups General ophthalmological diagnostic testing Pre and Post-operative patient care All facets of patient triage Assisting with in-room minor surgical operations Assistance with surgical lens size calculations and selection Liaising with admin staff to book appointments and surgical procedures Managing and maintaining patient records Who we are looking for: Someone with a passion for working with people, especially the elderly. You are an ambitious, solutions-focused, and energetic team member with strong attention to detail and clear and effective communication skills.
