We are a telehealth provider who focuses on offering easy-to-use, convenient and comprehensive access to essential health services across Australia. We are expanding our services to include hearing tests and the sale of medical equipment such as hearing aids. We require a Medical Technician NEC (Audiometrist) to join our team in Bowen, QLD. Key duties include : Administering and interpreting hearing tests using audiometric equipment; Calibrating, fitting and adjusting hearing aids and other auditory devices; Documenting patient history and test results accurately; Identifying the type and degree of hearing loss in patients; Installing, programming and maintaining hearing testing equipment on site; Keeping up-to-date with advancements in audiology and hearing technology; Maintaining and calibrating audiometric equipment; Performing follow-up consultations to monitor patient progress; Providing counselling and education to patients regarding hearing health; Managing the customer service portfolio for the hearing devices aspect of our practice; Working closely with audiologists and other healthcare professionals. Minimum Requirements: To be considered, you will need a level of skill commensurate with an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma and one year of relevant post-qualification employment experience, OR at least three years of relevant employment experience.
