Ideally positioned opposite Robina Public Hospital, Robina Private Hospital is the first and only private hospital to locate within the Robina Health Precinct and within close proximity to the precinct’s existing, extensive public services. Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private hospital with three specialist mental health and rehabilitation wards along with consultancy, outpatient, mental health and day rehabilitation programs and day surgery services. We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (permanent part time), who prides themselves in providing high standards of care with a professional and positive attitude. We are ideally looking for 24 hrs per week with the ability to be rostered for extra hours. Casual applications will also be considered. Duties and responsibilities (but not limited to): Deliver evidence based nursing care Liaise with a multi-disciplinary team Ensure patient and staff safety Supervise and direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs), and Student Nurses Respond to unexpected outcomes and use problem solving skills to respond to emergencies Comply with all legislative requirements in the workplace Must be willing to work across PACU, Admissions and Discharge Lounge when necessary Must be flexible with shifts across AM/PM – Monday to Friday Current AHPRA Registration Minimum 2 years experience in PACU Current Advance Life Support Certification or be willing to undertake Knowledge of NSQHS Standards Self-motivated and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment Demonstrated Clinical knowledge and experience in the implementation of patient centred, high quality clinical care Everyone who joins Robina Private Hospital: According to the role, may be required to provide a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 3 months of commencement date Position enquiries and applications (including current resume and cover letter addressing essential criteria) addressed to: Nicole Srom, Day Surgery Unit Manager #J-18808-Ljbffr
