The Role We are seeking a Pastry Chef to join our team. You will design and execute creative, seasonal, and innovative pastry menus, aligning with the venue's vision and also be able to follow the recipes given. Prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, bread, and other baked goods to meet daily service and event demands, while also contributing to the savoury side of the kitchen as needed. If you enjoy the excitement of working in a large team at a prestigious venue, with the opportunity to work on seasonal dishes to challenge your skills and creativity, then this role is for you! To ensure your success in this role you will have: Minimum 5 years’ pastry experience in a similar environment Able to work 5 days across a 7-day operation Loves desserts and modern pastry Prepared to work in multiple outlets including restaurant service, events, etc. Easy access to public transport for occasional early starts and late finishes Be a positive leader with the ability to lead by example Have a sound knowledge of OH&S, HACCP, par levels, stock control, ordering, and stock taking Apply To apply for this role, please send your resume and fill out the questions on our careers page.
