We are currently seeking a PM Shift Team Leader to lead our team in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of freight at our Mount Louisa location. As the PM Team Leader, you will oversee a small but dynamic team and manage the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and demonstrating safe operation of forklifts, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Ensuring inbound and outbound freight is accurately scanned, sorted, and safely loaded/unloaded to maximize load revenue. Monitoring and managing freight handling to reduce revenue leakage and ensure compliance with legislative requirements (load mass, load restraint). Ensuring all freight is handled with zero damage within set time limits and that all required documentation is properly completed. Maintaining a tidy and organised yard, ensuring that all pallets, load restraints, and dunnage are correctly accounted for and placed in the appropriate locations. Promoting a culture of safety, working toward zero near-miss incidents or accidents, and fostering strong professional relationships within the team. Minimum Requirements: Current and valid Class LF Forklift Licence (High Risk Work Licence). Proven experience in forklift operation within a similar environment or industry. Demonstrated ability to safely load and unload freight, including oversized, non-palletised, and irregular items. Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach. Ability to work autonomously, with strong time management and problem-solving skills. A commitment to achieving targets and maintaining high operational standards.
