Fixed Term, Full Time (80hrs + monthly ADO) to December 2025 Salary Range: $108k - $123k + Superannuation Located close to The Alfred Frequent professional development opportunities and regular professional supervision About us The Psychological Trauma Service is a multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with complex trauma and personality difficulties. It takes a holistic and flexible approach, working with individuals and their support networks to understand distress and guide recovery. Combining clinical and lived experience, the service provides education, consultation, and tailored therapies, including psychological, body-sensory, art-based, and psychopharmacological options. The service focuses on trauma stabilization, memory processing, and integration, emphasizing social connection and family involvement. It also offers expertise in working with older adults and improving trauma care, ensuring all support is informed by the individual’s culture, values, and priorities. About the role The Senior Clinical Psychologist will provide direct clinical services including assessment and treatment to consumers of the PTS. In addition, the Senior Clinical Psychologist will provide supervision to junior psychology staff, registrars and students and will be involved in the provision of education/training in the area of complex trauma/personality disorders as well as secondary consultation. The Senior Clinical Psychologist will participate in quality improvement, service development and service evaluation of the PTS.
