We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Package Manager to join an experienced project team on a full-time basis and support the delivery of the Havieron feasibility study and early works packages. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our journey to becoming a leading ASX gold-copper producer and contribute to our future success. About the Role The Package Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of critical early works and feasibility studies for the Havieron project. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple work packages, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to manage risks, ensure compliance, and maintain effective project controls. Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of packages within the Havieron Feasibility and Early Works phases, ensuring they meet technical, safety, and quality requirements. Develop and manage package scopes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with the overall project objectives and timelines. Oversee and manage direct engineering consultants, ensuring performance is in line with contract terms, schedule, and budget. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks across the various packages, ensuring proactive resolution of issues. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including engineers, planners, and project managers, to maintain project alignment and achieve project goals. Provide regular updates to senior management on package performance, risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure all packages comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols. Manage costs for each work package, ensuring adherence to financial controls and reporting. Essential experience includes: Proven experience as a Package Manager or in a similar project management role within the mining, construction, or infrastructure sectors. Strong background in delivering complex feasibility studies and early works packages for projects. Excellent skills in managing contracts, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Experience in risk management, cost control, and project scheduling. Sound knowledge of engineering and construction principles, particularly in the mining industry. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive team performance and foster collaboration. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or relevant field.
