Start date: 18 Nov 2024 (Slightly flexible for the right candidate) Long Term/Permanent Role Pay: $35-40 per hour depending on experience A loving family in Paddington, Brisbane, QLD are seeking an experienced, nurturing, and reliable nanny to assist in the care of their newborn baby boy. Normal days: 3 days per week - 24 hours per week Tuesday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Wednesday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm An ideal nanny would be warm, caring, and responsive. A nanny that is also friendly, happy, and interested in actively engaging with the baby to aid in his growth and development. The family is looking for someone who is organized, trustworthy, responsible, and reliable, who can care for the baby throughout the day and follow routines. Prior experience/professional qualifications with young babies and/or neonatal experience would be highly advantageous for this role. Mum will be studying from home while the nanny looks after the baby. The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows: To care for the baby Follow the baby’s routine Play and engage in age-appropriate activities to assist in the baby’s development Take the baby out for walks/to the park/playground, etc. General tidying up after the baby and light household chores and meal prep if time permits. Any extra assistance you can provide the family would be much appreciated. The family’s expectations from their nanny are: 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in childcare Childcare qualifications preferred Newborn/young baby experience Have a current first aid certificate Have a current Blue Card Display strong communication skills and speak English Non-smoking #J-18808-Ljbffr
