Job Description
Charli has experience providing advice and representation across a broad range of litigious matters and enjoys assisting her clients in navigating and resolving complex legal issues. Charli joined Page Seager’s Dispute Resolution group in September 2023. Prior to joining Page Seager, Charli worked as a senior legal consultant in State Government and as a lawyer at another Hobart law firm, practising in general civil litigation. Charli is admitted to both the Supreme Court of Tasmania and the High Court of Australia. Experience Examples of Charli’s experience include: Advising and representing professional disciplinary bodies with their inquiries and prosecutions. Conducting workplace investigations. Advising clients in respect of proceedings pursuant to the State Service Act 2000, Teachers Registration Act 2000, Fair Work Act 2009, and Anti-Discrimination Act 1988. Preparing and updating workplace policies and procedures. Advising persons called to appear at the Commission of Inquiry into the Tasmanian Government’s Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings.
