We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams. A permanent full time position is available at our Inspirations Paint Kippa-Ring store for an enthusiastic Paint Sales Assistant with experience in paint sales. Relevant personal experience within the paint or hardware industries or in home improvement projects is also an advantage. The successful applicant would be genuinely interested in people and their projects, and in also providing an exceptional customer experience to both our retail and trade customers. The position is available for immediate start and will include ongoing industry leading training and a uniform. Wages dependent on experience. Store hours are between 6.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 7:30am to 2pm. The store is not open on Sundays or public holidays. Responsibilities include: Following the “Inspirations Way” procedures Providing exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customers Tinting and mixing paint; colour advice and matching Paint and accessory deliveries as required Store presentation, stock management and housekeeping Workplace Health & Safety requirements. Experience / Attributes: A background in sales and/or customer service with a paint specialist or in a hardware environment essential Practical experience in home improvement projects desirable Experience with marine, automotive or industrial paints an advantage Approachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaints. Able to problem solve using advanced communication skills A willingness to learn and continuously improve Able to contribute and work in a small team environment Honest, reliable and punctual Basic computer skills Available to work weekends on a rotating roster This role involves some heavy lifting up to 25kgs If you have knowledge of the paint industry, are enthusiastic and motivated and have a genuine interest in people and providing an exceptional customer experience, we would like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
