Paintshop Supervisor Mills Recruitment is seeking an experienced Paintshop Supervisor to join our client, a specialist fabrication business located at the Naval Base in Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in industrial painting and blasting, offering the chance to oversee a small, skilled team in a modern workshop environment. About the Role: As the Paintshop Supervisor , you will be responsible for the overall supervision of the Painting & Blasting team, which consists of tradespeople, apprentices, and trade assistants. You will manage a small, dedicated team to ensure the efficient and safe execution of all tasks while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production targets. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the Paintshop team, ensuring that workflows are maintained, and production targets are met. Supervise the preparation and application of coatings and ensure dimensional checks are carried out. Liaise with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth coordination of production activities. Ensure that all products leaving the Paintshop conform to the company’s quality standards. Oversee and assist with the training and development of apprentices. Ensure that safe work practices are maintained at all times. Regularly maintain equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
