The Role We are seeking an experienced small works project manager to join our team as a Panel Install Manager. Reporting to the Panel Construction Manager, you will: Deliver high-quality construction and remedial projects in the Cold Room / Insulated Panel industry, safely, on time and within budget, to a value range of $10,000 to $2,000,000. Oversee works performed by Cold Room builders, steel racking & framing installers, and occasional trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing). We are looking for someone with a desire to learn and grow, and who wants to develop their skills and knowledge in the Cold Room industry. The role is full-time, permanent, Monday to Friday, based in our head office in Salisbury, Brisbane. The role will periodically be required to travel to sites, depending on project requirements, and will at times involve travel of one or two nights away. Key Responsibilities Analyse scopes, drawings and specifications to understand project requirements and develop scope deliverables, project programs and budgets. Coordinate and oversee project start up, delivery and completion to ensure projects are executed within scope, on time and within budget. Procure, coordinate, and effectively manage all necessary resources, including materials, equipment, and labour. Provide hands-on management of works on site, across multiple projects. Coordinate trades to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and identify any issues that require attention. Ensure OH&S and quality standards are met. Liaise effectively with clients, contractors and suppliers. Weekly and monthly project progress reporting. About YOU To be successful in this role, you will have: At least 3-5 years’ experience in a supervisory or small works project management role with exposure to industrial, fit out, food manufacturing, and/or commercial building projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors. Highly effective problem-solving skills: exceptional ability to analyse problems, develop solutions and make decisions. A results-driven mindset, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously. Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills with a good working knowledge of Excel. The following will be highly advantageous: Previous experience with insulated panel and construction methodologies for cold rooms.
