Because creating unforgettable holidays is not just our job – it’s in our nature. NRMA Bright Holiday Park is centrally located in the village of Bright, in the heart of the Victorian High Country. It’s a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Melbourne, and an hour’s drive from Albury. The ski fields of Mount Hotham and Falls Creek are a little over an hour’s drive away. In summer, there are hiking and mountain biking tracks on our doorstep. Job Description This unique property has a stream running right through the middle and the surrounds are just breathtaking. Bright is a vibrant town and is busy both during holidays and seasonally, as it’s at the base of the ski mountain for winter enjoyment and bike riding or hiking in the warmer months. Bright is a large, pet-friendly property offering 200 sites, cabins, 4 camp kitchens, 5 amenities blocks, and safari tents which are yet to come online! For guest enjoyment, there is mini golf, a swimming pool and spa, firepits, and a year-round communal campfire. This is a contract management position. Together, you will have strong leadership and a customer-centric and hands-on approach. We welcome a couple with fresh eyes, energy, and enthusiasm. A willingness to learn and drive a guest-focused park to make a difference will be key to your success. As Park Managers, you are required to live on-site - onsite accommodation and utilities are provided for as part of your total remuneration package. This is an exciting and rewarding offering and is a lifestyle choice for the right couple. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will operate a profitable and sustainable business. Management teams must either possess or be prepared to trade as a Proprietary Limited Company (PTY LTD) and have their own ABN. Management teams can expect to earn base income, plus the opportunity to earn additional income through commercial ventures you may choose to operate onsite. What You’ll Do Engage and manage employees Ensure top-class guest experience as your priority Manage all areas of park operations A suitable level of fitness with a flexible approach to workloads and a can-do attitude Manage financials (budgets & planning) with a refined sense of commercial acumen Lead by example ensuring efficient management practices are employed, maintaining compliance with safety and statutory standards What You’ll Bring A successful management team will consider themselves confident 'all-rounders' and have complementing skills to ensure they can effectively deal with the various challenges faced in a very busy holiday park environment. This varied role will see you build and maintain successful relationships with employees, guests, and key stakeholders. Current First Aid and CPR - essential We offer competitive contract terms and ongoing support from our Operations staff who will induct you to our company and methodologies. We also provide continued support and guidance for our managers in such areas as marketing, finance, IT, caravan park legislation, and safety.
