The City’s busy Parks Services team is looking for dedicated and reliable general hand to join our experienced and passionate team. With over 450 parks and reserves, working in this beautiful environment will offer you the opportunity to expand and enhance your skills, while contributing to the wider community. The role will undertake Ride On mowing duties, use of whipper snippers, edgers, general gardening, weed spraying, and pruning. About you We are seeking an individual with sound communication skills, a focus on safety, and the ability to thrive in both a team setting and independently when needed. Other requirements of the position include: Experience using Ride on mowing and other equipment. MR Licence or willing to obtain. White Card Basic Traffic management ticket or willing to obtain. Chainsaw operation ticket or willing to obtain. Solid understanding of safety protocols. Hourly rate: $35.43 up to $36.98 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
