What you'll do: Duration: 6-Month Contract Hours: 15-20 hours per week Fully Remote/Hybrid Our team is growing in response to more Australians wanting to access online healthcare. We're looking for a Pathology Operations Specialist to work with our growing team of doctors and patient support team to be part of the new way of providing healthcare. The role plays a crucial part in the success of InstantScripts, as our patients are always placed at the centre of everything we do. This will be a 6-month contract and will present a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of high-quality pathology services. Successful completion of the contract may open avenues for continued employment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day pathology operations, ensuring seamless communication with patients and doctors Efficiently process results to ensure timely delivery to medical professionals and patients Establish and maintain protocols for the efficient reception of results from pathology labs Engage with public health units regarding notifiable results Provide training and support to staff in pathology-related processes to enhance sustainability Collaborate on discussions for process changes, offering valuable insights to management and development teams Work closely with the development team to implement system enhancements that elevate pathology services Assist in the implementation of compliance measures to ensure adherence to industry standards What you'll bring: Qualifications: Enrolled Nurse (Div 2) with a solid understanding of common pathology tests Previous experience in healthcare or customer service is advantageous Strong IT skills, quick learning ability, and adept multitasking skills High-level communication skills to engage effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders Why Us?
