About Your Next Opportunity Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an opportunity for a Part-time Pathology Services Assistant to join the Specimen Reception Area of their Rockhampton Laboratory. In this role, you will be working shifts between 7:30 am - 8:00 pm and participating in a rotating Saturday roster is required. Responsibilities: The processing and registration of human specimens for analysis; Data Entry; Scanning of request forms; Pick up specimens from medical facilities; Liaising with callers to the laboratory; Specimen aliquoting and centrifugation; Preparation of specimens for transport. The successful applicant will have excellent phone mannerisms, be able to multi-task, work autonomously or as part of a team, and have excellent attention to detail. Previous experience working in a healthcare setting and an understanding of medical terminology is desirable but not essential. Please Note: You will need a current driver's licence.
