Job Description

The Health Support Services Department is currently seeking casual Patient Services Assistants to join our team at Western Health. Applicants must be available to work across all Western Health Sites and be able to work all shifts which include morning, afternoon, night, and weekends as requested. Applicants with experience working in a busy hospital environment will be highly regarded. The successful applicants will be highly motivated and dedicated to providing a high standard of patient services, cleaning, attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision. To be Successful in this Role, you will have: A high level of physical fitness Patient Services orientated High standards and excellent attention to detail in all aspects of cleaning Ability to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment Ability to work in a self-directed manner and prioritise workload Adopt a customer service approach in dealing with staff, patients and visitors Courteous, honest and professional manner Able to read and write English Demonstrated skills in communicating effectively with people Strong personal work ethic, initiative and service orientation Applications close at 11:59pm on 31 January 2025.
