Job Description In this permanent full-time role based near Epworth Eastern (Box Hill), you will be responsible for providing Self-Funded Estimates to our VMOs and the general public. You will be part of the centralised Self-Funded Estimates team and report to the Group Director Health Partnerships. This is a new and exciting role dedicated to Self-Funded Estimates and will involve dealing with key stakeholders including VMOs and the general public. This will be a small team dedicated to the provision of hospital services for people who do not have Health Insurance. You will make an impact by: Providing a customer-centric, consistent, streamlined and centralised process for acute Self-Funded estimates. Leading communication processes for all self-funded estimate enquiries to key stakeholders. Role modeling and actively promoting a culture of high-quality patient care. Continuing to develop resource tools, protocols and policies to enable and support the growth of self-insured patient estimate requests. Coordinating the process for review and updating of Self-Funded pricing schedules across key stakeholders, including sites and VMOs. Providing regular communication regarding feedback, themes, issues, changes and process improvements to key stakeholders. To be successful in this role… You will be a self-starter who is prepared to evolve as the role and team evolve. The primary success measure for this role will be the ability to maintain a customer focus while delivering a streamlined service to our key stakeholders with a successful outcome. You need to have: Current experience as a Patient Services Officer. Minimum 3-4 years of Healthcare Administration experience. Health estimates experience. Great coaching and communication skills.
