Job Description Process Responsibilities Own and enforce effective change management for all payments-related processes, including financial crime prevention, integrity validations, and reporting. Maintain a well-governed process directory to enhance operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with payments industry SLAs. Ensure adherence to AML/CTF reporting obligations. Accountable for the execution of operational risk controls. Oversee the timely execution of manual payments processes. Ensure accuracy in end-of-day processes and confirmation of payment settlements. Resolve or escalate payments-related incidents in collaboration with the Payments Delivery Team. Other Responsibilities Initially, play a key role in shaping the newly established Payment’s function within the organisation. As a greenfield team, you will work closely with the Payments Delivery Team to help define and communicate the needs and priorities of Payments Operations, establishing a strong foundation for this function. Qualifications A business or finance degree is beneficial but not essential. Additional Information Regulatory Compliance and Controls : Ability to implement and oversee operational controls, ensuring strict adherence to standards, with a particular focus on regulatory requirements such as AML/CTF and compliance with industry guidelines. Incident Assessment and Resolution : Skilled in quickly assessing incidents, applying structured problem-solving techniques, and escalating issues effectively when required. Change Communication : Proficient in communicating process changes with clarity, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal operational impact, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.
