Salary: Level 2, $73,954 - $79,292 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2024) This is a permanent full-time position commencing March 2025. Swimming and Water Safety is responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of the Interm Swimming and VacSwim programs that promote vital swimming and water safety education for children aged 5 – 17. The Role As Payroll and Administration Officer, you will provide accurate and timely personnel and payroll services to the branch, including the maintenance of employee records for casual and temporary employees. The successful applicant will be required to ensure payroll business processes are delivered accurately and consistent within industrial instruments, legislation, policy and procedures. The role requires you to ensure data is correct prior to processing, manipulate data and upload a high volume of electronic paysheets for swimming instructors onto the payroll system to facilitate accurate pay processing. Within this role you will work closely with our team of Program Coordinators and other administrative positions. It will be your responsibility to maintain an understanding of the Interm Swimming and VacSwim procedures and guidelines and respond to general queries by phone and in person with timely and accurate advice.
