Job Description

We are looking to hire a driven Lead Business Architect to join our growing team of Pega experts. Work will include elaborating requirements with business, working with architects to design and deliver Pega-based Business Architected solutions addressing the client’s needs. Working on-site at a customer location, this role will work as part of a project team to ensure that the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer requirements. Responsibilities: To be successful as a Lead Business Architect, you: Manage project design and delivery efforts including developing the project logic, project design, detailed work streams, team structure and deliverables. Should be able to own the delivery end-to-end. Develop strong key client relationships, managing client expectations and presenting final recommendations persuasively to senior teams. Should be able to manage a team of business and system architects. Facilitate and lead working sessions with clients, subject matter experts, stakeholders, consulting teams, and technical teams. Should be able to capture business objectives and be comfortable using Pega Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO) capabilities. Lead data migration efforts, including planning, mapping, transformation, and validation of data from legacy systems to Pega. Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process, conducting thorough testing and validation to meet quality standards. Should be able to develop a roadmap based on client/project vision. Should understand the Business Processes and Business objectives of the customers to drive the right Pega solutioning. Should be able to provide consultative guidance on all project assignments. Should be well-versed with Pega technology and features of the platform. Should work with all groups to ensure the best possible design and solution for the Application. Should be well-versed with Agile & Scrum methodologies to easily align on the project delivery. Should be able to manage backlog prioritization along with the Product owner. Should be able to enable and educate clients on industry-standard Pega best practices. Should run showcases to the relevant stakeholders to have early feedback. Should partner with multiple stakeholders to develop high-quality deliverables across all phases of a project (from identifying and defining process flows and use cases to user acceptance testing). Should leverage industry experience to consult and influence the client's direction. Should document processes and stories for Dev & test teams. Skills & Experience: Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in analysis, requirements gathering, design, and development of enterprise application systems. 5+ years of Pega Experience. Certified Pega Business Architect (Preferably version 7.4 or later). Experience in multiple Pega strategic applications. Experience in leading end-to-end Pega implementation experience. Understanding of Pega Technical concepts. Ability to drive workshops with client stakeholders. Taking ownership and willingness to go the extra mile. Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Exposure to handling multiple dotted line stakeholders. Aptitude to learn quickly and a superb attention to detail and process orientation. Ability to think creatively and strategically with a focus on achieving outcomes. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Dedication to achieving outstanding customer results. A team-oriented drive and a demonstrated ability to lead by example. Good team player and willing to work with teams across geographies. Experience in work & project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence. Experience in Process Optimization and Process modeling. Enable team to understand domain or Pega concepts. Nice to Have: Experience in managing multiple client accounts, conversations, and solutions. Experience in sales activities would be an added advantage. Should have worked in pre-sales roles full-time or part-time supporting CoE.
