Job Description
Position: Hand Therapy Practitioner Location: Victoria Applications Open: 5 February 2025 Applications Close: 6 March 2025 Type: Permanent full or part time experienced Hand Therapist or full time new graduate, 3-4 days per week Peninsula Hand Therapy is looking for a new Hand Therapy team member in a permanent part time (3 day/week) or full time (4 day/week) role, available from February 2025. Peninsula Hand Therapy is one of the longest established private hand and upper limb practices in Melbourne, and the preeminent service on the Mornington Peninsula. We are made up of 7 experienced Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists practicing from one purpose-built clinic that fosters a strong and supportive team environment. We do not ask our clinicians to travel to satellite clinics. By nature of its size, our team gets to know each other well, meeting face-to-face and helping each other throughout the day. Due to the longstanding establishment of our clinic, we have strong ties with the MP community, sporting clubs, and GP clinics, and we work very closely with our local hand, plastics, and orthopaedic surgeons, as well as rheumatologists and sports medicine doctors. Our clinic is well supported by our long-standing practice manager and reception staff, who take care of all non-clinical administrative tasks such as booking patient appointments and taking payments so that you can focus on patient treatment. PHT values and supports learning, and offers formal weekly supervision. We also have a monthly journal club, in-service meetings, and a generous annual CPD allowance. This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist looking to further develop their diagnostic skills, broaden their experience of hands-on treatment modalities and take on a leadership role in a well established clinic environment with a surprisingly broad range of upper limb conditions from infants to the elderly. Full time hours: 4 days per week, 8 am - 6 pm. Clinic locations: Mornington, Frankston, Victoria Salary range: Dependent on experience.
