Experienced in overseeing recruitment, talent development, training, and engagement within a hospitality environment. Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven culture. Skilled in developing and executing talent management strategies to retain and motivate employees. Adept at managing industrial relations, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and awards. Proactive, adaptable, and able to influence and support managers across all levels. Passionate about hotel operations and employee experience, with a strong focus on compliance and safety. Confident in communication, with effective stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. WHAT YOU’LL DO Drive the People & Culture strategic plan in collaboration with DCOH and Trilogy People & Culture teams. Oversee the implementation of corporate programs (e.g. engagement surveys, succession planning, performance reviews), ensuring they meet business needs and timelines. Lead recruitment efforts to meet staffing requirements for all hotels, overseeing end-to-end recruitment processes. Manage talent development, including coaching and mentoring HODs, driving performance management culture, and supporting career growth. Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and events, promoting a positive workplace culture across the hotels. Develop and implement strategies to ensure high retention, including onboarding, training, and probationary performance reviews for new staff. Ensure compliance with relevant industrial awards, employment legislation, and company policies, advising on updates and improvements. Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, including handling concerns and resolving disputes. Oversee the performance review system, recommending strategies to improve employee performance and potential. Manage compensation and benefits programs, staying current with trends and ensuring competitive offerings. Regularly audit and update policies, procedures, and the HRIS system, ensuring accurate employee records and compliance with all regulations. Assist in maintaining a safe and inclusive workplace, conducting regular health and safety audits and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Contribute to monthly reporting, ensuring HR metrics are measured and communicated effectively.
