We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Manager to join our Senior Leadership team on a part time basis. 16th January, 2025 All West Engineering (AWE) is an Australian owned and operated company conveniently located across key partnering areas in Western Australia, Queensland and Victoria. We are proud to partner with some of the world’s largest mining operations to provide solutions for onsite and offsite Engineering and Maintenance support. This is a part time position - 25-28 hrs a week either during school hours or across 4 days - we are flexible. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders to execute and implement the People and Culture strategy and other relevant HR initiatives. Your role will be critical in cultivating a positive workplace culture and ensuring the efficient management of human resources activities across the organisation. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to the business, addressing HR-related issues in a timely manner and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of HR practices and processes. Your responsibilities: Execute and implement AWE People and Culture Strategy Provide expert and influential advice and expertise across the organisation in relation to HR/People related matters Act as a coordinator and/or mediator to resolve workplace disputes and conflicts between employees or between employees and management, ensuring fair and equitable solutions. Provide clear guidance and interpretation of company policies and procedures to employees and managers, ensuring consistency in application and adherence. Foster a positive workplace environment by promoting open communication, collaboration, and respect among employees Promote Data-Driven Decision Making - Identify and create platforms and reporting on key analytics to drive strategies and improvements, ensuring initiatives are aligned with business objectives. What we are looking for: Tertiary qualifications in HR or Commerce (minimum Diploma or Degree qualified) Minimum 5 years in a similar role where you have worked independently in a standalone role or in a small team Demonstrated experience of driving and leading HR initiatives Experience working within Resources/Mining Services/Mining Contracting environment is highly desirable Ability to adapt and communicate at various levels in a professional manner Well versed and must be confident to interpret Fair Work Act and Modern Awards Understand how Financial/Commercial decisions in a business can impact People Ability to problem solve complex matters and escalate where necessary Why AWE?
