Job Description

PeopleSoft Lead Consultant to take ownership of management and enhancements of PeopleSoft (HRIS) platform. 21st February, 2025 As the PeopleSoft Lead Consultant, you will take ownership of leading a team of 6 consultants in the successful management and enhancement of the PeopleSoft platform. This role offers a 50/50 split between leadership and technical responsibilities.You will guide the team through all phases of the project while also directly contributing to the technical aspects.Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage a team of five consultants, ensuring clear communication, effective task delegation, and monitoring progress. Project Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end enhancements and upgrades of the PeopleSoft implementation project, from planning and analysis to execution, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are understood and expectations are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle. Consulting & Solution Design: Provide strategic guidance on PeopleSoft platform design, configuration, and implementation, tailoring the solution to meet the client's business needs. Quality Assurance: Ensure the platform implementation meets the highest quality standards, with comprehensive testing, documentation, and user training plans in place. Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and address risks or issues that could impact the project's timeline or deliverables, ensuring minimal disruption. Mentoring & Development: Mentor junior consultants, offering guidance on both technical and functional aspects of PeopleSoft, fostering their professional development and growth. Technical Contribution: Actively contribute to the technical side of the implementation, working hands-on with the PeopleSoft platform, including configuration, troubleshooting, and customization tasks. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and deliver regular project updates, status reports, and documentation for senior management and clients, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals. Post-Implementation Support: Oversee the smooth transition from the implementation phase to post-go-live support, ensuring continued client satisfaction and addressing any ongoing system needs. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Lead Consultant, with a strong background in leading platform implementation projects. Expertise in PeopleSoft application modules (e.g., HRMS, Financials, Supply Chain, etc.). Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with PeopleSoft architecture, configuration, and integration. Experience managing a team of consultants in a project or consulting environment. Ability to balance leadership and technical responsibilities effectively, with a 50/50 focus. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset. Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills. PeopleSoft certifications (preferred).
