Job Description

Performance & Insight Analyst (Transmission Delivery) An exciting opportunity has become available for a Performance & Insight Analyst (Transmission Delivery) . This role will see you take the lead on delivering project performance reporting, insights and analytics across entire portfolios within the Transmission Group. You will partner with and drive the performance of all projects across the Transmission business by providing timely insights and highlighting key risks to the Transmission Delivery leadership team around cost, schedule, delivery partner KPIs, and safety targets. This role is based in Malvern (however the role location can be split amongst Malvern and Southbank) with a hybrid split also of Office/WFH and is part of the Contracts & Controls team within our Transmission line of business. This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Support the Transmission Delivery Group by providing performance reporting, insights and analytics to enable efficient delivery of the projects. Provide professional, accurate, and timely advice to the Transmission Delivery leadership team to drive performance against cost, schedule, and safety targets. Analyse operational data and delivery partner KPIs to highlight key portfolio risks and make proactive recommendations to reduce risks and elevate performance outcomes. Work with Finance and the Regulation teams to provide information that supports the preparation of AusNet’s annual 5-year plan and regulatory price reset submissions. Develop and maintain automated performance monitoring tools and dashboards and manage the validity of all performance data. Support the implementation of new reporting processes based on project/portfolio requirements. Ensure performance is in accordance with the Construction Delivery Partner Panel Agreements (CDP) and Design Delivery Partner Panel Agreements (DDP). You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Advanced level in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI , and experience with programming languages and automation tools. Tertiary qualification in business or data analytics. Experience within the Utility sector highly advantageous. Significant complex project and portfolio management experience and understanding of methodologies. Proven reporting experience in a business or complex projects environment including strong ERP system experience e.g. SAP. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to proactively engage with key senior stakeholders and lead meetings, with limited assistance. We believe in more than just competitive pay.
