Job Description
St Michael's Catholic Primary School, Ashburton, is seeking a highly motivated Performing Arts teacher to join our community for a 0.4 replacement teaching position. The days of work will be Mondays and Tuesdays. The successful applicant will: Enrich our students with an engaging and contemporary Performing Arts curriculum. Actively work with our student, staff & parent community to ensure that the Performing Arts program has a strong presence in the culture of St Michael's School. Provide an environment of inspiration, engagement, and enjoyment to the children in our care. Model the Catholic and community values of the school, working with the community of this school which is made up of families from diverse social backgrounds. Have a commitment to Child Safety and a knowledge of Child Safety Standards. Have a strong commitment to the philosophy of Catholic Education. Be registered with the VIT or hold Permission to Teach.
