Perioperative Technical Assistant - Griffith $61,889.52 - $64,260.00 pa, pr + salary packaging Employment Type: Permanent Part TimePosition Classification: Technical Assistant - Grade 2Remuneration: $61,889.52 – $64,260.00 per annum, pro rata (+ super + 17.5% leave loading where applicable)Hours per Week: up to 24Requisition ID: REQ544292Applications Close: 9 February 2025Vaccination Category: A About Your Role This role will work closely with the Operating Theatres at Griffith Base Hospital and the Sterilising Department in St SVPCHG to ensure surgical reusable medical devices (RMD), instruments, trays and hollowware are moved from the Operating Theatres to the Sterilising Department and returned as quickly and efficiently as possible. This process will include initial rinsing and cleaning in accordance with AS4187; scanning and packing RMDs and instruments and checking trays contain all instruments listed; transporting instruments, trays and hollowware.
