Permanent Doctor for a General Practitioner VMO role in Sale (DPA and MMM 4) DPA Location MMM 4 location Relocation Grants and eligible for MDRAP/FSP General Practitioner for Medical centre in Sale, VIC.VMO and Aged CarePart time or Full time/Locum or Perm 2-5 days per week. POSITION DESCRIPTION: DPA Part-time or Full-time position Established patient base Negotiable terms Minimal on-call/after hours *This role may attract a Relocation Grant Having the flexibility to either work full-time or part-time between 2-5 days per week.You will be working with a supportive and holistic team.Your typical day would include chronic disease management, mental health, women’s health, child health immunisations, occupational medicine and minor procedures.Expand on your session work with the ability to provide VMO rights, nursing home visits and the on-call/after-hours roster (1-2 Tuesdays per month). 15 minutes appointments65% of billings onsite and 80% of billings for VMO or off site procedures.Have the confidence to join with an established patient base and the support to choose whether to start on an hourly rate or a percentage of Medicare billings. To make your move more comfortable, the practice can offer rental assistance as well as ongoing support for the first 6-12 months as required. This can include childminding, cleaning services and help with local clubs. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: AHPRA registration- General or Specialist registration Women’s Health, Mental Health experience Team minded approach THE PACKAGE: Negotiable contract terms Guaranteed income period Accommodation assistance PRACTICE DETAILS: The fully accredited, computerised mixed billing practice has a total of four doctors, and three registered nurses that provide full support for procedures and care-planning.A brand new building, with seven consulting rooms and one treatment room.Additional services provided include; Low intensity mental Health, Diabetes Education, Nutrition, Aged care, and Occupational Medicine.Allied health services available include; Dietitian, Diabetes Educator, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, and Audiology.On site pathology is provided on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.VMO services are provided to Sale Hospital –Central Gippsland Health Services.The practice hours are Monday– Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am – 12.00 pm. Closed Sunday. Location: Sale is an attractive and prosperous city located at the western end of the Gippsland Lakes. In recent times considerable amounts have been spent on upgrading the town and making it an accessible and desirable weekend and holiday destination. The primary appeal is twofold. It is only two and a half hours from Melbourne and it is an ideal access point for two very major attractions: the Gippsland Lakes and 90 Mile Beach. Add, in winter time, access to the Victorian Alps and it is a town with major tourist appeal. The Port of Sale has been upgraded and the edges of the Gippsland Lakes have been turned into outstanding environments for the rich birdlife of the lakes and for pleasant walking paths.
