Salary: AUD350000 - AUD351000 per annum Global Medics is partnering with a Government Organisation, and we are seeking GP’s who are Australia Citizen (FRACGP essential). These roles can be a FIFO with 1 week in 4 a minimum, as well as a permanent full-time appointment. The role: You will be responsible for delivery of primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures. You will form part of a multidisciplinary team working toward the shared purpose of achieving and maintaining the health and well-being of Defence members. There are roles available across several sites, however, the hot spot locations currently are: Kapooka (Riverina) Gaza Ridge (Riverina) Newcastle NSW What is in it for you: Both locum and permanent opportunities are available. Riverina and Tindal region are happy to consider FIFO who can commit to a minimum of 1 week out of 4. For permanent staff: Relocation assistance of approx. $5,000. Retention and sign-on bonus of up to $25,000 – pro rata if part-time / FIFO. FIFO is also a possibility for permanent staff. Essential Criteria: Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner, General in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR, Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration. Minimum of 2 years full-time post-graduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent). Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification or happy to obtain.
