Reporting to the Support Worker Team Lead, you’ll work closely with our management team and other stakeholders to ensure the team work in a flexible and collaborative manner to deliver positive client outcomes. ‘A week in the life’ Provide line supervision and support for a team of Personal Care Workers (PCW) ensuring they provide services at best practice standard and aligned to RDNS Your Choice Home Care’s values and Code of Conduct Work closely with the Support Worker Team Lead and other key stakeholders to plan for future workforce forecasts. Work closely with the rostering/scheduling team to ensure that services to clients are not compromised and achieve optimum utilisation. Recruit, select, induct, and develop staff as well as actively supporting their safety, health and wellbeing and that of our clients. Ensure all participant plans meet compliance and reporting requirements. Ensure all reporting and documentation requirements are met, including completing and maintaining timely, accurate and efficient administrative and communication systems. Supervise and support service coordination staff, including competency assessment and identification of training needs. Some travel to our other office locations within Melbourne may be required. About you: Certificate IV Community Services, Certificate IV in Leadership/Management or equivalent with experience in a similar role. Excellent staff leadership and supervision capabilities Proven ability to contribute to and, work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently. Demonstrated skills in networking, liaison and the development and maintenance of strong links with relevant service providers. Well-developed written, oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead discussions, problem solve, mediate, and resolve conflicts. Essential Conditions: Federal Police Clearance must be attained, and declaration made of any future charges or convictions that could potentially affect your role within RDNS Your Choice HomeCare.
