A work culture that values you. About the Role Fairhaven Residential Aged Care is seeking dedicated and qualified Personal Care Workers to join our team to work 20 – 35 hours per fortnight. This role involves assisting elderly clients to live safely and with dignity while promoting their well-being and autonomy. We are looking for individuals who are committed to supporting our residents in a way that ensures they feel comfortable and respected in their home. In this varied role, your day-to-day tasks may include: Participating in the development and review of resident/client care plans, including completing charting and reporting any observed changes of a resident's health to the Registered Nurse; Undertaking and completing a number of different tasks, as delegated by the Registered Nurse; Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of all residents, their representatives and staff, and ensuring that all interactions are treated confidentially; Support and assist in the provision of a comfortable, safe and secure environment. To be suitable for the position, ideally you have: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support; Demonstrated solid experience in Aged Care; Willingness to work a variety of shifts, across a 7-day week; Current National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain.
