Job Description
As an American residential school, our many milestones include a number of firsts from when we became the first IB school and first international school in the country (and the third in Asia) by adopting the International Baccalaureate Diploma program in 1976 among only nine other schools worldwide to when we became the first school in the country to have its own separate campus for camping and outdoor activities in 1994. Purpose: To provide school-wide support and best-practice mental health counseling at an international residential school. Counseling includes diagnosis and treatment and/or external referral for medical treatment and medications when necessary. You will be a clinical or counseling psychologist, preferably licensed, with a minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably with adolescents, and knowledge of the personal developmental and academic needs and challenges facing adolescents as well as all aspects of adolescent emotional and psychological health.
